Thanks for the advice
These factors kept the geocentric theory of the solar system alive, as
did a fallacious reliance on tradition, and the heliocentric theory's
threat to a world view that many people were emotionally,
professionally, and religiously attached to. Combined, they kept it
alive for centuries, even after observations had refuted it.
