I have a grandchild in Wales who is being taught at school toRather irresponsible of you and your grandchild's parents to
pronounce this as "HETCH". This strikes me as terribly ugly and will be a
real handicap when the child grows up.

for copyright infringement. I'll represent him and take a third.
Works for me. We carry insurance for matters like this. Dr. Phil
takes his third, you take your third, I will take our third. All
are happy except for Ivan and our insurance company.
I am more a Dr. Laura type. I do not know if you boys enjoy Dr. Laura
over there on the funny side of the pond. She enjoys a radio broadcast
show over here, a nationwide radio show. I listen to her, daily.
This mother calls in to Dr. Laura, "My father is always telling our
daughter not to eat so much. Tells her to not become fat. He has no
business telling our girl how to eat."
Dr. Laura asks, "Are you fat?"
Caller is hesitant, "Well, I have a bit of weight problem."
Dr. Laura is assertive, "Are you fat or not?"
Mother Caller concedes, "Yes, I am fat."
Dr. Laura kicks her ass, "Well, there you go. I know your father tried to
stop you from becoming fat, this didn't work. Your father has every right
to stop his grandgirl from becoming fat like you. He wants his grandgirl
to be healthy and to live long. So, why don't you lose some of that fat,
present a good role model for your girl and listen to your father?"

Purl Gurl
Earlier today I went on a little search to see if there was a specific
root cause for the animosity towards Purl Gurl.
(Incidentally, I may have just found it.)
I didn't find much, but as I'm starting to understand the, er,
'rhythms' of a.u.e it somehow doesn't surprise me that 'Tha Gurl' is
an avid fan of Dr Laura, daily.
