But did the site resize your browser? If so, don't you find it to

If it did, I didn't notice. Therefore, I wasn't offended. I use Firefox, BTW.

As do I. Perhaps it's version-specific I use 2.0.0.2 (just updated this evening). I thought, though, that my browser window had been resized on earlier versions. I can't spot an option to prevent it, though I'd very much like to.

In the Tools/Options window, go to the "Content" section. To the right
of the "Enable JavaScript" option there's a button labelled "Advanced".
This will allow you to disable several annoyances that shouldn't have
been permitted in Javascript in the first place, including the one about
resizing windows. Normally I keep all of them disabled, but perhaps the
upgrade to version 2.0.0.2 accidentally turned some of them on again. It
was this survey that alerted me to the fact that I had resizing
enabled, so the survey has served one useful purpose.

Of course, you don't have to worry about any of this if you have
Javascript disabled. Unfortunately too many web sites these days insist
that you have Javascript enabled in order to slow down your web browsing
experience. It would be nice to be able to blacklist all such sites, but
with Internet banking and the like I can't afford to do that, because
the banks' web programmers are among the worst offenders when it comes
to irritating web site design.
