indeed get a page with "Fanny" on it in several places.

So, what we've come upon is a weird but intriguing
difference in the ways Firefox and Internet Explorer handle
the same URL.

That's curious. I use Firefox almost exclusively myself. (The URL was
actually originally copied into my original message from the address bar
of that very program.)

I tried unwrapping the URL in my original post and copying it back to
the address bar of Firefox,

I'm surprised to see that you apparently can't just click on
the wrapped URL in Outlook Express, like you can in Agent.

just to see if there was some problem with
it, but couldn't reproduce your problem.

I suppose we could be using different versions of Firefox.
Mine is version 1.0.7. Or there could be options to be set
different ways, but I haven't changed any options. It's
just like it came out of the box (so to speak).

Anyway, I take exception to your calling it *my* problem.
It's not my problem; it's Firefox's problem. Maybe it's
time to give Opera another look.

Let's hear it for "like" as a conjunction!
