I see, by the way, that clusty.com has now adopted Google's habit of
having sponsored results. The very first item on a search for "bail up
bushranger" is a suggestion that you can find "Bali up" (note different
spelling) on eBay. It appears that "Bali up" is an item of women's clothing.
Searching for my name in GG, I was discomfited to find I was apparently
for sale on eBay.
I'd have bougbt you if it weren't for the shipping charges ...
How about if I pay for my own transportation?
Oh, and the Thirteenth Amendment.
We can get round that trifle. You could buy my hair, and I would
deliver it in the most convenient manner.
Which raises a question. If it's unlawful to buy or sell a human being,
including oneself, surely any trade in body parts, let alone embryos,
is at best a grey area. Have we a clear definition of the parts or
physiological products in which such trade is permissible? Are there
clear grounds for a distinction for this purpose between living and
dead humans? And would such a distinction not be dangerous?
