Re: How to place the tongue for pronunciation?

Hi,
I think my English pronunciation is good until recently one of my US

right place in my mouth.

I sometimes learn interesting things about pronunciation from listening
to
foreign speakers who pronounce more words as they're spelt. I know a
Russian who says "S@rtifikayts" for the "Sertifikits" I refer to.

Guessing that you are Asian, I would also guess that your biggest
problem is
the eL for which the tongue is curled up behind the teeth. The Asian
pronunciation
often sounds like a vowel to me, so that "Burl" and "Burrow" sound the
same.
