What is a "regular" coffee?
This has been discussed here before. Apparently, for some older
speakers, "regular coffee" meant an ordinary cup of coffee with
cream or milk (and sugar? I don't know). I myself have never
knowingly encountered this usage, in New York (LCIA) or anywhere
else. I understand "regular coffee" to mean "not decaffeinated".
As explained by John Travolta, in _Look Who's Talking_, "Regular
coffee has two sugars and milk ... Coffee regular, I love it."
