Something seems to me to be idiomatically wrong here, but I can't quite --
so to speak -- put my finger on it. One is surely jerked around, but not
the short-and-curlies, yes? When someone has you by theshort-and-curlies,
it's different from being jerked, yes?
Judicious lucidity requested.
Yeah, it's odd, but what strikes me more is the wild swing of register from
jerking SnCs to ideating suicidally.
