Hello ,
I am just wondering if some one could help me in correct a couple of
lines that i email to my employer? What i wanted to tell my manager, is
just to find the out time sheets of myself(mine) and my peers who both
work at a client site.
Here is the email i sent over to my manager.
Hello David,
Please find the time sheets of both of us and let us know in case if
you haven't received any of those.
Thanks
"find" is probably wrong but I'm not sure what you intended. Have
you sent the timesheets earlier? Have you attached the timesheets to
the email?
"timesheets of both of us" is sort of correct but it's not
colloquial. You don't need "both" if your boss knows that there are
two of you. If there are more than two then "both" is wrong.
you don't need "in case": "let us know if you haven't ...".
"any of those" is wrong. "any of them" would be OK if there were
lots and you didn't know if they'd all arrived, but it's too complex
for two timesheets. "them" would be fine.
So, while I wait to understand what you mean by "find", this is my
initial simplified version:
"Please find our time sheets and let us know if you haven't received
them."
