In our last episode,

the lovely and talented Adrian Bailey
broadcast on alt.usage.english:
If you go to review an album at rateyourmusic.com one of the instructions
is:
"Put before album names and place after. Example: About a Boy
[OST]. This will convert the album name to italics, which is proper
grammar."
I find this awkward, but not shocking. Is there a question
somewhere? What to do with an album title is more an issue of
style than of grammar, and the prefered html tag is <cite>.
If one accepts the L in "HTML", it must needs have a grammar...said grammar
includes, inter alia, proper formation of tags, proper pairing of opening and
closing tags, and probably something about when a particular style tag is
appropriate....r
