Thing is, few people would be willing to analyze the seasoning of
individual kernels of popcorn, which is why your question, as
worded, would strike a listener as odd. Your mental addition is not
the default convention. Oh, wait -- it wasn't a bowl of popcorns,
was it?
Please tell me you're not one of those who, when asked, "Did you
get a haircut", is compelled to say something like, "All of them."
That used to be a real thigh-slapper back in the old days.
