Tony Cooper's upbringing

Coop is, like all of us, a product of his environment. It'd be unfair
to judge him too harshly for he is not responsible for his trailer
park upbringing or his, presumably, being the offspring of uneducated
and backward parents. Some have speculated that his mother was, shall
we say, a woman who'd negotiate, and that Coop never knew his father,
but, if so, these aren't things that are his fault. If Coop never had
a role model, partially explaining his hatred for all mankind, it may
be up to us to supply him one.
My point? Help the Coop!
