The use of dashes where commas would otherwise work suggests a certain
something, sometimes ostentatiously called "hubris", sometimes something

On most of usenet, I've had trouble enough getting people to set off
their tag insults with a comma. Maybe you could go to AU and pour out
your high-tone whine on each other in person.
