Bob doesn't believe in trees, preferring to change the subject line at frequent
intervals, with the result that many newsreaders lose all sense of where the
message being responded to might be....
I'm agnostic on the subject of trees myself, on the grounds that not everyone
will see every message in a highly dendritic thead, particularly when people
start adding and subtracting groups....r
