Sounds like the takeaways from this thread are
- Depends on your video card
- If your PC's built-in video isn't up to it,
buy an add-in card
- Be prepared for a little trial-and-error getting
the card's rez synched exactly with the TV's native rez.

A Diamond Radeon 9250 card didn't recognize the 1680x1050 native
resolution of my Vizio TV until after XP Plug&Pray had run, with the
Vizio on a DVI cable. They didn't work together well on a VGA cable. I
set the Vizio as monitor 2 so I could always see and change settings
on monitor 1.
An Asus EAH4350 on another PC running 7U found and configured itself
for the Vizio with no trouble, using 7's built-in drivers.
