Can anyone explain why I get great reception on a channel and the next
time I tune in the same channel (a few hours later "weak signal" or "no
signal" appears?
Probably because you have marginal signal strength. You get great
reception when the signal is strong enough to stay inside the digital
cliff effect. Then because of weather, time of day, the signal weakens
enough where you get dropouts or it can't lock.
If you are looking for advice on fixing your reception problems, what
is your antenna setup and zip code? Does the weak/no signal show up
during the daytime?
