Official Report from the Whitehouse
Due to the failed DTV conversion on June 12, 2009. All government
offices will be closed until July 1, 2009, beginning immediately.
This is due the fact that too many television stations are
experiencing problems making the DTV transition.
Until these stations are once again able to reveal the truth of
Washington politics, together with FOX, CNN, CBS, MSNBC and other news
media, these television reporters are unable to speak to the citizens
of America. Thus, the U.S. government can not function. It has been
decided that it is best that the government shut down until the media
is once again able to expose all the truth to Americans. As all
Americans know, the citizens ARE the government, and without your
exposure to your televisions, we can not govern.
Without the input from all American citizens, the government can not
make or change laws, prevent crime, manage the economy, start wars, or
function for the people.
Stay tuned to whatever channels still work (if any do) in your area,
for further updates on the failed DTV transition. If these television
stations are unable to make the necessary changes and get back to
normal broadcasting by June 30, 2009, the U.S. Government may be shut
down permanently, and all 4th of July fireworks will be cancelled.
Thank You
President Obama

works), because the television networks could not be reached for
comment).
Odd, an Over The Air shutdown shouldn't affect the CNN or MSNBC cable/satellite channels at all.
