Re: Question from an HD idiot

Thanks, everyone. Maybe the cable guy didn't set me up right. I know I
should have the option to view SD in regular 4:3, with the black on the
sides, but for some reason I only have this option when I use the DVD
player. When watching cable, only "full" and "wide zoom" are available.
But I've found that this is likely my issue...

When clicking to the "picture" menu on the TV remote, I see that the
"4:3 Default" is set to "wide zoom". This is likely the problem.
However, it won't let me click on that icon to change it. I'm guessing
I may have to unclick something else to access the 4:3 Default, but
after trying many combinations of things, still haven't figured it out.
(TV manual is brief and didn't help)

So somehow I must figure out how to "unlock" the 4;3 Default option.
Maybe if the cable guy didn't hook me up right....yeah...gotta be his
fault.
