1370 what? Not 1370 MHz, that's for sure.
Channel number.
And that has *what* to do with splitter frequency? Nothing! A cable channel
number like 1370 is a *virtual* channel number and has *nothing* to do with
the frequency at which the channel is being transmitted.
Sounds to me as if it was. Increased series inductance can attenuate
higher frequency signals. My bet is that putting in a new 1GHz splitter
would have fixed the problem as well.
The old splitter was not bad. Get over it. You made a mistake, admit it and get on with your life.
Hmmm...a IGHz splitter which does not - according to you - get the upper
frequencies of its band. Sounds bad to me.
So if you had put in a 4GHz splitter, you'd be claiming that a 4GHz splitter
was needed? Poor logic.
I never said that and you know it. You are engaging in intellectual masturbation.
No, you said that a 2GHz splitter was needed because the one you put in
fixed the problem caused by a defective 1GHz splitter. By that logic, if
a 4GHz splitter was used and fixed the problem, a 4GHz splitter was needed.
Intellectual masturbation? Not to those with IQs over 80, it isn't.
