And if the overall state is not correct, it will prompt and guide the
unsophisticated into restoring a known state, something your remote can

And my remote will never give you a wrong state to begin with.:-)

I paid $70 for my Harmony on Ebay, I think you paid more than $7 for
your remote and got much less than 1/10 the functionality.

The one the wife uses cost 99 cents and that includes the IR receiver.


I have a macro remote like yours... it sits in the box with all the
other remotes we no longer need. It's batteries removed.

Well, I don't even use macros, but you do. A multifunction button by any
other name is still a macro. Since I run MythTV now on every TV, I don't
need macros.
