PSIP? Do you mean PSID?
Are you receiving this over the air or via cable? If the latter, then
your cable company has reserved 43-177 and 43-193 as virtual channels
and is inserting PSID information accordingly. If the former, then
WTVS-DT has screwed up its PSID information.
PSIP (Program and System Information Protocol)
This data sent by the broadcaster contains virtual channel designations,
program content rating, EPG information, program title, and even time.
It is used in ATSC and DVB broadcasts. PSIP is required on all digital
broadcast channels. This data is sent by the *broadcaster* and should be
kept intact by the cable operator.
