I used my DvD recorder to copy a couple of Laserdiscs. For some

how to delete. I burned them to DVD+RW, but I figure I might as well
copy them from DvD player to DvD burner on my computer, to write-once
discs.
Then I can go back to using the DvD+RW disks for data.
What kind of disk should I buy to hold my Laserdisc movies, allowing
me to play them on my DvD player? I see a bunch listed as
acceptable, but I don't see what is recommended, nor why.
This has nothing to do with Lasserdisc movies per se. You can use any
type of DVD that your DVD player can recognize and play. DVD+RW and
DVD-RW are good for practise and getting things right. For the final
copy, you can probably use either DVD-R or DVD+R, as long as your
player supports it. Just check the manual. (If the DVD player is
fairly recent, it will probably support just about any DVD type.)
