Only if we let it be. In some other countries the public still gets out in the streets when their government starts thinking that it is not on a leash.

S. Korea's public is still incensed over its governments caving in to US pressure to accept US beef. I am to. I have not eaten US beef since the head of the USDA, a former Beef Industry head lobbyist, Ann M. Venerman, refused to let a US cattle rancher test his beef for Mad Cow disease so it could be sold to Japan his number one market.

The Republicans are supposed to be for free markets and keeping the government out of our business as much as possible but they are the worst because they are willing to intrude on our freedom and endanger our health based on purely grubby mundane money issues. The lowest you can go.

I will not eat US beef until we have someone running the USDA that I can trust.

The US may already be a fascist state. Sure smells like it lately. If we are not a fascist state already we are virtually one due to special corporate interest control of the power levers in DC.
