Where are you and what is your antenna? I have no issues at all with
breakup of the audio or video but my signals are textbook clean for 21
DTV carriers in LA. Oxnard, San Bernardino and 29 Palms aren't worth
the bother in 90274.

I already know I'm in a fringe area for analog, but I could still get four
UHF analog channels (15, 39, 51, 69) with some amount of clarity and audio
continuity. If there was some visible snow, the picture was still mostly
watchable. The best antenna for that analog reception seemed to be the TERK
TV-5.

But with digital reception, which additional testing is showing is also a
room problem and that I likely need more amplification, neither the TERK
TV-5 nor an RCA ANT-401 nor an RCA ANT-200B antenna can seem to hold a
stable picture for more than 30 minutes maximum before some sort of video
corruption occurs, which results in the audio dropouts. Now, I did manage to
find an antenna position with the RCA ANT-200B that will hold a stable
picture for up to 2 hours, so although that antenna position loses two
channels (15-1 and 15-2), I'll continue to use that antenna position for now
since I rarely ever watch programming on channel 15 in analog, and I'll
probably not watch programming on the digital equivalents 15-1 and 15-2.

I have to use indoor antennas, though. Outdoor antenna usage is not
permitted in the apartment complex I am in unless it is a free-standing dish
type antenna.
