Sony Blu-ray DVD Players

I've had a Sony BDP-300 since Christmas. I updated the firmware wo that's
current. I'm wondering if anyone out there has one of these units and finds it
to be very slow in booting up? When I power mine up, it takes what seems to be a
long time before I can open the tray and put a disk in. My last DVD player just
powered up and thetray opened right up. It also seems to take a few moments to
recognize any oush of the remote button. Is this just quirks of these units or
could I have a problem with mine? Thanks.
