I hear on the danish news groups that PS3 is able to play DivX;-), when it has gotten a certain update. That sounds very good, I think. It will allow people to play their own content on the PS3 Player.
I think that a High Def player should have the posibility to play home video content, preferably also High Def home video. I do not know if the PS3 will play High Def DivX;-) or only SD DivX;-)
