Sony LCD's

We're looking at a Sony KDL40XBR4 television, but there are different types
designated as ....XBR2, ....XBR3, ....XBR4, and ....XBR5. After reading
through some of the specs, it is not clear the difference between these.

It looks as if the difference may be a software upgrade or change. Does
that make sense?
