Good point - no one can predict prices down the road, whether they are
an "expert" or just a newsgroupie.

No, it's not rocket science - rocket science is difficult but possible,
but predicting future prices is impossible. That won;t stop a bunch of
boneheads from trying, though.

The OP didn't ask us to predict the future price. He asked our opinion
on the pricing trends. Almost every one of us cited a similar trend
over recent history. Your hairsplitting and nitpicking for the sake of
being difficult has added nothing to the conversation.

You prove my point yet again. The OP asked very specific questions
related to the SuperBowl, Xmas, and the change from analog broadcasts.
He did not ask if TVs would be cheaper in the future. Responding that
electronics prices tend to go down over time is useless - my 3 legged
retarded gerbil knows that. My point, which you missed, is that no one
can answer the specific questions the OP posed, regardless of whether
then are informed or, like you (by your own statement), uniformed.

I'm curious about your last sentence. How do you know by reading if he has a
uniform :)
