hello all, I`m a newbie to this group, so I hope my question isn`t too
old. I bought a samsung 42 inch rear projection tv about 4 years ago. It
says in the manual and on the front of the set, it is HD ready up to
1080i. I finally bought an xbox 360 , which is my first try at HD. The
tv says on the screen "unsupported mode"for every resolution above 480.
What is wrong? have I been ripped off 4 years ago, or is there something
I have to do which I havn`t done?. I`m using the conponent cable which
same with the xbox. Many thanks, Derrick
Are you sure you know what component cables are? They are usually red
green and blue IIRC. You also need 2 audio cables with them. And are you
sure you are plugged into the component jacks of both the TV and xbox?
