I have a JVC-RS1 projector with a 110 inch screen (no TV or tuner) so
I need to add the tuner. I'm glad its on Fox UHF because CBS (channel
2) is the pits reception-wise in Chicagoland, it has been since I was
a child (I'm 52). Whereas channel 32 (31) has always been easy to get
here. Even after CBS moved their transmitter to Sears Tower channel 2
still is hard to get cleanly, probably due to it being low VHF. When
I was a kid and we all had antennas on houses, the dads would always
say "can you get channels 2 or 5?", that was always the measure of
whose antenna was better.
Channel 2(NBC) has always been crap here too. Has nothing to do with digital
though. Our NBC affiliate transmits digital on channel 50. Strongest signal
I get. You need to look at what channels the digital is transmitted on.
