This has been the silliest thread I've seen. You guys going on about
power consumption like it means something. My DLP pulls a constant
load regardless of program material. Niether good nor bad - just the
nature of the beast. CRTs and Plasmas vary with program content as
Jordan mentioned earlier - the nature of those beasts. So what? Do you
like what you have? Good. No? Oh well. Want to lower the consumption?
You could turn it off....
FWIW, our computers all have PF corrected supplies. You're not
