Just curious if the HDTV channels had the capability of transmitting in
1080p and/or does it only depend on the recording.
i.e. Discovery Channel has some nice looking broadcasts and some not so
nice.
My T.V. can't do 1080p and am wondering if and when I should upgrade, even
though I'm sure I couldn't tell the difference...
Thanks in advance.
they broadcast at 1080i rather than 1080p - but a 1080p screen is required
to get the most out of 1080i broadcasts (assuming we are talking plasma/ lcd
rather than an old crt set).
