I'm one of those that don't care much about HD. A lot of that is because
there still isn't much HD programming. But a lot of it is because HD is
saddled with some mix of bad programming (e.g. most OTA programming for
the "masses" is what I consider bad programming ... personal opinion for
those who have arrived online in the past 15 years and don't understand
that this is a place of opinions) and bad transmission (e.g. cable and
satellite providers that soften the picture with harder compression to
regain bandwidth for additional programming channels).
