Actually, my two copper pairs to the CO got yanked several years ago. It wouldn't have worked for DSL anyway, since it's too far to the CO.
I'm served by four pairs to an SLC, although these days only one pair is in use.
You didn't want to reveal which ISP that is?
Leaving aside the rudeness of you dumping my network space to every clueless twit who couldn't figure out how to do it themselves, it is no secret that Avvanta (nee Blarg) is well-known in the Seattle area for quality and reasonable prices.
They're local and independent, and intend to stay that way. Among other things, that means that when I call customer service I get someone who has a clue, rather than some dingbat in another state (or country).
