Bought an used Sony 35" (16x9) two years ago w/Samsung OTA receiver. (DVI interface) Good whites, great blacks, sharp picture with few artifacts or fringing...great for sports action. Set weighs close to 300 lbs.

Wanted larger picture. Bought a Sony LCD. After much adjustment, flesh tones aren't quite right and whites/pastels look slightly pink...some fringing on fast action or camera pans. Otherwise the new set is a pleasure.

IMO any major brand of CRT is hard to beat. Screen size is small and they weigh an awful lot.
