A basic question but surprisingly difficult to find the answer.
I have just bought a Samsung 46" LCD TV (modelLE46M86BD). I plan towallmount it and I have bought a Vogel's EFW 2004wallmount which
claims to be compatible. I have had thewallportion of this attached
to thewallby a professional builder. Now, I need to attach some
brackets to the TV and hook it onto thewallcomponent. Here's the
basic question: which are the correctmountingpoints on the TV?
There are four large bolts which would appear to be themounting
points but before I remove them I would like to be sure. I don't want
to accidentally open the casing. The TV instructions say little, they
simply refer you to the instructions for the Samsung's own bracket.
The bracket's instructions don't give specific details for this TV
(not very surprising). I have done quite a bit of searching,
particularly in the Samsung site, but I have failed to find the
information that I need.
Can anyone here help?

We are running into the same problem, with our Magnovox and the VERGE
wall mount. It's too short. Unless you take the four bolts out that
came with the tv and use those. That makes us a little nervous though
since we don't know what they are for.
