Thanks for the great Panasonic review! (I love my Panasonic DVD player) I did not want to make assumptions about VHS recording or deal with returning the unit. Too bad about the copyright, I also have a bunch of old (but good shape) Disney tapes. Couldn't you use another VCR for a copyrighted tape and send composite video and sound to the DMR-EZ37VK?
Do yourself a favor and build a multi-ATSC tuner PC recorder. About $300.
Expandable. Upgradable, real HDTV, etc.
