I'm considering the purchase of a 52" Sharp Aquos HDTV for the dualI have been using a 42" Hitachi RPTV as a monitor for the last 2.5 years. I works great for me. I highly suggest you get an NVIDIA card with DVI output to either DVI or HDMI input on your TV. The NVIDIA cards have software to fit the screen perfectly. I have no noticable flicker. The cards have dual output, DVI and VGA and can be had for under $50 US. I use this setup for everything including watching TV as an HTPC and surfing. The Aquos might even be better.
purpose of PC monitor and HDTV. I need it to display Excell spread
sheets and for surfing the web. Is this feasible? Advisable? Is it
dependent on my PC? I've done some searches and am getting a little
discouraged that this is not the great idea I thought it was.
TIA for your consideration of my questions.
