Is there such a thing as free satellite TV?
Point me to a better newsgroup if there is one, please...
I'm not looking to steal signals that one is supposed to pay for. I'm
not interested in Dish Network's "free satellite TV" option (what they
mean is free installation, but you have to pay a monthly fee).
Are there any satellites that broadcast in the clear that I can
receive by putting a dish on my roof. I live in Massachusetts, so
European satellites may even qualify. I heard once that NASA had
broadcast satellite that was in the clear. Perhaps the Uganda movie
channel shows reruns of "Raid on Entebbe"?
I am most interested in HD digital.
