This Friday, 6/1, is the "big" day when the Channel Master 9030 "Eave

One word of advice. back the mountings of the eave mount bolts with
something really sturdy. Maybe 2x4. I used an eave mount once and it
ripped the 1x4 eave wood during a high wind. Had to replace the whole
eave as the wood was split about 3ft on each side. I think I've still got
the mount in the garage and this happened over 25 years ago. Today I have
a 5 foot tripod ($29 at rat shack) mounted with 6 lag bolts at the top of
the roof using a 6' mast and an 8 bay CM 4228 antenna without guide wires
and it holds up real good. Even held up well during some recent 70+mph
winds that blew down lots of trees (was without power for 2 days). I'd
never used another eave mount. Hopfully a good foot or more backing of 2x4
would help. Good luck.
The Channel Master 9030 Eave Mount that I ordered on-line, from WarrenI hope they said to use backing on the eave.:-) I bought my 8 bay CM 4228
Electronics, came with NO assembly instructions at all. I had to find
them on the net and print them out.
from Warren for $39 IIRC. It's a solid antenna.
