I think all CRT based RPTVs these days have one touch auto-
convergence. You just push a button every couple of moths and that is
all. Burn is is not a big deal unless you wish to use them for
computer use. I think she just wants a big TV.

"Auto convergence" is really a misnomer. What all of these systems do is a
gross realignment to the last parameters that were stored at the factory or
in the last actual calibration, using a few sensors around the outside of
the screen. These systems are limited by the precision of the original
alignment to which they are referenced, and by the imited number of points
sampled. For the most part, they are not very effective, unless one's
standards are very low.
