Vizio "Gallevia" GV42L 42" LCD poor sound

I am getting a lot of distortion with this thing. I just got it a
couple of weeks ago. I even ran an HDMI DVD player and I get the same
poor sound issues. Hooked up my roof antenna and ran some HD channels
and again crappy sound.Anybody have any advice? I have a feeling it
is going to have to go back. Something I was trying to avoid but it
looks like I have no choice. I think the term you get what you pay for
works well with this.
