I service the units that we sell and have had not a single client report
these problems. I have not heard of the problems from the hundreds of
techs that I communicate with on technical listserves and forums. The Sony
LCD sets are outstanding performers and the reports of these problems have
been greatly exagerated. Be aware that there are trolls that take these
kinds of problems and make them into much more than they are, particularly
on AVS with respect to Sony. There is at least one that keeps showing up
under many names that will post anti-Sony BS repeatedly, including outright
lies.

If we begin to see the problems well will not continue to sell the sets, but
I have tried to find a basis for concern and can find none with the other
dealers and servicers that we communicate with.
