Apparently you don't remember "Curtis Mathes - the most expensive set
in America - and darned well worth it". A truly lame TV set with an
insurance policy (warranty) for 4 years. You 'got what you paid for'
but you THOUGHT you bought a good TV but what you REALLY got was a
long warranty.
The 'low price' stuff is mainly a throw-away isn't it? Where you you
get service for a Proton or Sceptre ? Personally I'd shop for deals on
the name brands and have no problem with getting 'last years model'
provided it has the features I think I need.
