Re: HD MPEG-4

Is there anywhere I can download any HD demo material in MPEG-4 or Divx
format to see what this thing can do?

I also have a upconversion DVD player ordered that plays Divx and Mpeg-4
which will be here shortly.

Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but if you're expecting to
download/buy some DivX HD, put it on a DVD, and play it in your
upconverting player, then you are in for a disappointment, because
most DivX-capable players will not play HD-sized clips.

Just found out your right darn it. I have the Samsung DVD-HD960 on order.
After reading the manual it only supports 720x480 in Divx. What a waste of
a HDMI connection.

Bummer.

Have you checked DivX itself? Or Googled up something? I've got lots
of HD movies, but I don't know where to find legal clips for
download/purchase.
