JVC Great warranty service

I have a JVC 61Z585, 61" D-ILA HDTV that I bought as a factory refurb
back in Oct 2005 for about $1600. Great bargain, but a few here were
concerned that the deal was too good and that maybe the warranty
wouldn't be so hot.
Well, it has a 1-year warranty, including the expensive bulb. I just
got the message to change the bulb a few days ago, called JVC and they
sent the replacement, no charge - not even requesting my CC number to
guarantee payment should I not return the 'bad' one.
I guess that settles the warranty and factory refurb issue pretty well.
For info, I asked the tech guy why the bulb failed so soon. His answer
was that the early bulbs had some quality issues. He went on to say
this new one should last between 4000-6000 hours (a year to a year and a
half).
