Is HDTV really user friendly?

Bottom line.... will off the air HD TV reception be as
easy as SD has been?

SD hasn't always been the best quality... but the eye
is way more tolerant to "noise" in a signal than the
ear is

Is HD gonna be a lot of trouble with al the damn
pixelation and all?

Just curious
.
