Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8300 HD DVR?

Hi all, I have a Scientific Atlanta Explorer DVR box hooked up to my 45
Aquos, I noticed a usb port on the face of the box, anyone know what its
for?
Can I hook it into my PC via usb?
I sent an inquiry to my cable comp and got no reply, so I figured I would
post here to see if anyone knew.
