Re: HELP I'm lost in this strange new world

Hi Kent, Thanks for the feedback. I stopped in to Tweeter today and
they said the same thing. Since we've got little kids and the room
will not be a dedicated theatre, I'm now pretty close to ruling out the
front projector. That Dell sounds like a good deal, but it's a
smallish/medium sized room and we're trying to not have any extra
clutter. It's the only room we really use for TV, except for a little
TV/VCR combo in the bedroom. Thus, I'm probably looking at either a
Plasma flat panel on the wall, or a rear projector LCD...either way
going for 50" minimum. Based on price, the rear projection is the
current front-runner, but I've got an independent/freelance guy (found
on Craigslist) who does installs and sells equipment stopping by on
Monday to see what he thinks. He already advised me on the phone
against a projector because even though we could black-out the room
with blinds on the window, we don't want watching TV in near-darkness
to be our only option.
