I am trying to decide between these 3 1080p HDTV sets.

Unless you sit very close (say 8 feet or less) you will have a hard time
noticing the quality difference between 720p and 1080p on a 50 inch size.
Personally, since I sit 11 feet back, I wouldn't bother with 1080p unless I
had a set of 60 inches or more. But, it's your money :<)
